Blue Cross Blue Shield Texas Adds New Fitness Program to BlueExtrasSM Discounts
Just in time for summer, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) members can receive an exclusive discounted health club membership offer from Life Time Fitness. Starting July 1, BCBSTX members who are not currently Life Time Fitness members can join with no enrollment fee and an administrative fee of $85 for Single members and $95 for Couple and Family memberships. This special offer is through BlueExtrasSM*, and all applicants will be asked to show their active BCBSTX ID card as proof of BCBSTX membership.
The BlueExtras program provides members with a variety of discounts on health care products and services that support healthy lifestyles. There are no claims to file, no referrals and no pre-certifications. Members can also use these discounts for complimentary alternative medicine services, weight management programs, and vision and hearing exams and products.
