ILLINOIS Health Insurance : requiring insurers to cover habilitative services for children : EasyToInsureME
ILLINOIS Health Insurance : Governor Pat Quinn signed a bill requiring insurers to cover habilitative services for children with a congenital, genetic or early acquired disorder up to age 19. At the carrier's request, providers must furnish medical records or other data necessary to substantiate that treatment is medically necessary and that the patient's condition is improving.
